Alabama CDL Permit Test - Double

Directions: This endorsement is required if the driver will pull two or three trailers. To receive this endorsement, applicants must pass a test. The test consists of 20 multiple choice questions. To pass, the applicant must answer at least 16 questions correctly. Each question has three or four possible answer choices. Test questions come from the Alabama Commercial Driver License Manual. Questions come from chapters covering: Driving Safely, Air Brakes (if applicable), Combination Vehicles and Doubles and Triples. The Double/Triple endorsement can be used with the Class A CDL.

Regarding winter driving, all of the following are true, except:
Front tires should have a tread depth of at least 4/32 an inch.
Tires should be slightly deflated.
Rear tires should have a tread depth of at least 2/32 an inch.
Use a gauge to verify that each tire has a safe tread depth.

Alcohol begins to affect the body:
After only one drink.
After several drinks have been consumed.
At the legal limit.

After the engine is started, warning lights and buzzers should all:
Stay on.
